The Largest Beehive in the World nears completion
The Largest Beehive in the world,. located at Wolds Way Lavender has just been completed!
The main request of its residents was that it should have an insulated roof. This has been achieved by constructing a green eco-freindly roof that has been planted with Camomille and Thyme plants.
The Hive stands tall above the acres of Wolds Way Lavender
The new residents of the hive have just been introduced. Our Bees at Wolds Way Lavender are looked after by Marcus Cordingly from Scampston Village. Marcus has around 250 hives around the area. He is seen here checking that the Queen and her family are settling in okay.
The display is another worthy addition to Wolds Way Lavender. We look forward to seeing you here. Will you have the bottle to step inside “The Largest Beehive in the World”?
